The Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta has matriculated a total
of 186 newly admitted part-time students in the 2015/2016 Academic
Session
It was learnt that the matriculated students spread across five colleges
of the University, as follows: College of Agricultural Management and
Rural Development (COLAMRUD - 34), College of Environmental Resources
Management (COLERM - 28), College of Food Science and Human Ecology
(COLFHEC - 50), College of Physical Sciences (COLPHYS - 63) and College
of Plant Science and Crop Production (COLPLANT - 11).
Professor Olusola Oyewole, the Vice-Chancellor of the university
congratulated the students on their admission and stated that all the
credentials presented for admission would be verified with the examining
bodies and any student, who had falsified his or her credentials would
be expelled from the University and handed over to the appropriate law
enforcement agencies for prosecution in the law court.
He further stressed on the university's zero tolerance for examination
malpractice and other related vices and pointed put that any student
engaging in such will face appropriate punishment.
